In the world of Windows Phone, Nokia Lumia 1520 is the reference smartphone as it comes with the most advanced technical specifications. It is also the first phablet (phone - tablet) with Windows Phone and the first phablet from Nokia offer.
From the start, the model "intimidate" with generous dimensions. The screen is huge, with a diagonal of 6 inches (15.24 mm) and weighs 209 grams. No matter how big you have your hands your fingers still feel small when you take this phablet in your hand. Therefore, Lumia 1520 is a suitable smartphone for everyone. Nokia knows this and is preparing a mini version, Lumia 1520V with smaller screen (4.3-inch possible), but that will keep the specifications of the rest.
Although it is known that Lumia devices are shock resistant, must be careful not to get the phone out of hand. A fall onto a hard surface such as concrete or tile, will not be without marks on housing or display, due to the weight of the device.
Design
As we used at Lumia models, top quality construction is almost flawless. Its casing is of polycarbonate, a material resistant to scratches and shocks, and the screen is covered with Gorilla Glass 2. It would have been more welcome the Gorilla Glass 3 glass, more resilient, especially since Nokia introduced this protection on the Lumia 1020 model.

The screen has a resolution of 1.080 x 1.920 pixels and a density of 367 ppi. Lumia 1520 has the same resolution as the Galaxy Note 3, but a lower pixel density because the screen on the concurrent Samsung model is 5.7 inches.
Camera
The main camera, 20-megapixel camera is one of the most powerful on the market. It features optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash. The camera can record Full HD video (1080p @30fps) and has video stabilization. The secondary camera of 1.2 megapixel for video calls, can record video in HD Ready (720p @ 30fps).
The Nokia device comes with a pre-installed camera, which can be used automatically and manually.
