Apple opened the niche tablets in 2010 by the first generation of iPad. The concept was not new, it was the invention of the American company headquartered in Cupertino, but adapting it to the needs of the market have turned into a mass product sold in millions of units. Competing tablets also arrived, especially Android and Windows RT and Windows 8, but only through 2013 failed to provide a similar experience with the iPad.
It's hard to compete with the iPad for several reasons. The first is that Apple has everything in-house, from product development until the operating system. They know what specifications/hardware put on the device. On the other hand there is one position in terms of the market share, and an application developer knows its creation much easier in the App Store. There is a greater appetite for paid apps for an iPad owner.
What did Apple create on iPad Air?
