LG Nexus 5X Review – It Is Worth Buying It?

Every year, Google choose a phone manufacturer to achieve the "vessel" in which the giant to "shed" its best: the new version of Android. The "vessel", called Nexus, has appeared in two versions this year, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. We are reviewing the smaller version, ie Nexus 5X, created by the folks at LG.
Strong competition on the smartphone market pushed producers to come up with gadgets with great specifications, but there are only a few manufacturers of processors, only a few manufacturers of displays, only a few manufacturers of cameras. In addition to design, how could we differentiate hundreds of smartphones models? Through software.
As most companies prefer to deploy on Android, because it offers a high degree of freedom and it is easy to modify with dozens of versions and different layout with different functionalities, which in some cases could be considered (with Although there are) completely different operating systems.
Unfortunately, not all of these versions are very well optimized and some come loaded with all kinds of applications more or less useful, which only reduce performance of devices. Moreover, manufacturers 'forget' to update their phones, only the top ones benefit from software updates for some versions.
This way Nexus program appeared: the need for users to have stable, optimized and updated gadgets. LG Nexus 5x is the third South Korean smartphone produced in partnership with Google.
LG Nexus 5X - Introduction
LG Nexus 5x is based on specifications, a mid range smartphone that tends toward the high end. We could say that is the top-of-range phones launched last year, it's a premium phone, because of the used appearance and materials.
LG Nexus 5x has a 5.2 inch display with full HD resolution, under which lies a Snapdragon 808 processor and 2GB RAM. Storage is 16 or 32GB but can be expanded by microSD card. The cameras are 12.3MP, respectively 5MP and below we can find a fingerprint sensor. 2,700 mAh battery is charging via a USB type C cable. The bad news is that the cable has USB ports C in both ends, so it will not be easy to transfer data between a PC and a smartphone, unless you have a laptop or a next-generation computer.
LG Nexus 5X - Pros
Nexus 5X copes perfectly with everything, and this is due to the optimization of the operating system. Six-core processor with 2GB RAM and the facilities are more than sufficient for common tasks such as browsing, emailing or watching clips on Youtube. Configuration cope with games that are played well on colorful full HD display. We have experienced delays in changing applications or in alternating tabs in Chrome and walk through menus.
The camera is doing exceptional, especially in low light conditions. Focus quickly remove sufficient detail on bright pictures without bugs in pictures. In light focusing is faster and is approaching the speed of cameras on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ or on the iPhones.
Colors are slightly over-saturated, which does not bother me at all, and I can say that the LG Nexus 5x is the first gadget that managed to impress me at chapter camera from the Nexus range.
Android 6.0 system is an advantage in itself, merely because the interface offers a clean surface, free of fireworks and bloatware.
LG Nexus 5x - Points against
Price is still an unfortunate aspect. There is not much in itself is high compared to other phones, for example, LG G4, which brings a QHD display, 3GB RAM, microSD card and the same process costs $150 less on sale. The question is how much are you willing to pay for the security updates and to experience the newest Android version.
LG Nexus 5x - Conclusion
My experience with LG Nexus 5x was good overall. However, I expected more. I expected more from Google and LG, two companies that have failed to shine in recent years.
